Annette O'Toole spent her childhood in the Houston studio run by her mother. Annette O'Toole made her TV debut when she was just two, as a kid on The Don Mahoney, Kiddie Trooper Show. After ten years of singing and dance lessons with her mom and sister, she headed for a trip to L.A. to try and determine if a show-business career was feasible. In less than two weeks, she was offered her first job that was paid, singing with Danny Kaye on Danny Kaye Show with Danny Kaye. She says that she has utilized her dancing and singing capabilities in various ways. It's a fantastic discipline for actors." O'Toole's role as a debutant with My Three Sons was followed by performances in Gunsmoke as well as The Mod Squad. She also appeared on Hawaii Five-O, The Mod Squad, The Partridge Family. O'Toole's greatest love, despite her successes in film and on television, is theatre. After a six-year run in Smallville she decided to focus on theater which she'd been doing over the last decade. Since moving from New York, she had her debut performance on Broadway in The Sea Gull. She has appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway plays, including Adam Rapp's Kindness, and Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska.
