Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only one of Richard McCormick. Her father taught at school, and her mom was a domestic worker. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick started singing and performing from a young age. She was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was approached via Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to be a part of the show business. McCormick's first big job was in 1964 which was when she appeared in a television commercial featuring Mattels baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was later cast in the show Wind It up and It breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was in the company of over 1200 other kids to play the eldest towheaded daughter in The Brady Bunch. The sitcom starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed newlyweds, who shared a blended-family. The show lasted for five seasons. McCormick revealed her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity to Barry Williams during the five-year duration in the series. The actress was only 16 at the time; he was 19. She told me that it could have been feasible, but we didn't have the proper timing.
